I worked hard to get the book in the correct form for my designer to as she says "flow" the type.
But I got it wrong twice! Both times a time consuming process.
I'm sure I was the one who misunderstood because she has a wonderful reputation in the business and I am new to the tech prep side of self publishing.
I actually tried a way that I thought would save us both time. Er. Wrong.
So I am now redoing this technical aspect and will be working on it, like a Demon, Saturday and Sunday.  I think I'll need a few more days than that but I'm going to get as much done as possible. .
Then I send it to her. She makes any changes I specify and "flows" the type. I then get it back from her and it suddenly looks like a real book! Although I then need to read it thru again to see if there are any of my errors I overlooked and that all changes made are there. She's good and they are.  She's also fast so I'll probably get it back from her in a few days - However I need to write what you will read on the back of the  book to let you know a little about how the story is developing in NET of JEWELS. Haven't done that yet. Will sit down and do it as soon as I get the book to her properly tech-ed! All to say - Not Quite Ready Yet! But in final stages of production.
Ok, now. Dinner and then to bed to rise early and get to it! Looking forward because I get wrapped up in the story all over again! And can't wait to share it with you!

Sent the manuscript for NET OF JEWELS to my awesome book designer yesterday. She'll make the corrections and changes I've indicated then send back to me. Then I reread add any changes necessary and check to see that I was clear in what I asked her to do. Send back to her. Then she sends back to me to check for changes. Then when done I upload to CREATESPACE the AMAZON company that prints my books and reviews it for correct formatting. If it passes they send back to me for final approval and when I do they print my book! Working to get this to you ASAP!
And then to get on to Book Three - RETURNNNNNNN!
