As I mentioned I recently got a web cam. Today got lighting and headphones. Did a lot of research. Will keep you posted on the video production adventure!

Go forth was something a friend said often. So choosing to go forward despite all the sad and fearful news following the good example of the Parisians who are determined to carry on with their lives as before.
So, I got a web cam! And a program that will enable me to produce them easily. Given these times I'm thinking of publishing a book with images of my heart paintings including a brief text, well as long a text as I feel inspired to write about each heart, and how and why I began the series. In the digital version the hearts will be in color. Unfortunately I won't be able to afford color inside the paperback but I can place all the hearts on the cover in color as there is no additional expense for the cover in color. While I'm cooking up that book I'll create a video for each heart to talk about each one and how they each came to be. No coincidence I thought of doing this now. I began the heart paintings in 2000. And when 9/11 occurred I wanted to do something. I did pass out masks but felt the heart paintings would be good for people. So I created a little website with aol declaring "Love is Stronger!" I also created note cards and sold them at cost and think they may have uplifted the spirits of those who got them or just seeing the hearts on that simple web site. I don't believe self publishing existed back then! So since people asked if I would make a book regarding The Power of the Heart, now I can. For now, still working on creating the one volume of From Darkness. Would love to get the Power of the Heart book ready for Christmas but while it seems impossible now, we'll see. Miracles do happen! Love is stronger! I consider myself a compassionate person. Easily swayed by my heart. And NYC's Statue of Liberty speaks for the country's heart historically. However, I am furious that given recent developments NYC Governor Cuomo refuses to place Americans first. Leaving our door wide open to ISIS. New Yorkers have a big heart. But we need to protect our own against this most vicious enemy.
31 other governors consider the safety of their people most important and will not risk their lives. Governor Cuomo protect the people of NY State! Just as someone I know said on 9/11 that our lives would never be the same, the massacre in Paris has changed all our lives here in the USA forever and for the entire world. I am profoundly disappointed and furious with the lack of vigor, action, and vision - that seems to come across masquerading as obstinate blindness, but appears suspiciously like strategy - shown by President Obama in regard to a response to this attack. I voted for Obama and now am very sorry I did as he seems to do everything in his power to put America and Americans in ultimate danger and show disregard for the people of not only Paris but the world. And I am against the the open door policy he as instigated importing people who we cannot vet and among whom will certainly be members of ISIS. How many? We all know it only took 2 to take down the twin towers and nearly 3000 American lives. How dare he so misuse his power to not only endanger us all here in the States but to force this policy on us, a policy as if planned to destroy America and aid ISIS. We need someone at the helm now who is on our side.
I've not been posting for some time. A couple of months at least. Working on my next book. Doing my day job. But then 3 weeks ago ? I came back and found that Weebly that hosts my website had made massive changes that from the over 1000 complaints that were posted reported that the site was now difficult if not impossible to work with. I stayed away knowing Weebly was working on the bugs. But returning I see I want to make some changes myself to the site.
Still, the writing comes first. Thanks for stopping by. |
