I'll explain: I planned to upload the Holiday Sale just after midnight on Thanksgiving night. But learned that while Create Space at my site would probably have the sale price nearly immediately, it might take Amazon 3-5 business days! So doing it tonight I believe Amazon will have the sale going by Friday if not before & Holiday sale price as marked on my site I believe are already active! So Go Forth! Buy Some & Get a Good Deal!

While an Indie author like myself is free to choose the price for their work and can avoid needing to charge high prices because we don't have the overhead that large publishing companies have, there is a minimum price determined by number of pages mainly. The price of paper and ink and production.

I look forward to when I can introduce my books for Kindle and then later on for all other eReaders. I'm working on that now or at least its in the queue of Things that must be done now!  Because then there will be my books on Kindle given away by Amazon a certain number of days per month for 3 months I believe.And then I will price them all very reasonably, especially the first book. I'll make it as easy as I can for anyone  to afford my eReader versions.

I was one of those who did not want to ever own a kindle or any eReader device. I was certain I didn't want to read a plastic book! And then a very wily friend of mine, who knowing my attitude, lent me her kindle to read The Help. Well. My conversion was instantaneous. I never felt I was reading a plastic book. In fact it was as if the kindle wasn't there and I was in the book, in the story! Don't misunderstand. I still buy and read books because I'm entranced by beautiful covers, deckle edges, gold that looks like bright shiny gold on covers. So sometimes, I buy both.I can't help myself. I love the feel of a beautifully made book, but I also love carrying around fifty books, and also buying and having them delivered in minutes really suits me. I love that!

Well, I'm excited about the sale and hope people tell their friends. and they all have the opportunity to take advantage of the sale for themselves and for gifts. Nothing like one friend telling another about a book they loved. I might try setting up a pre-order for RETURNNNNNNN so you could give someone the entire trilogy for Christmas.  I'll see if I can get that done.
Where are those elves when you need them!

There is also the completion of formatting of Book Three of THE FROM DARKNESS Trilogy, RETURNNNNNNN. My designer and I are working on the cover and almost there with it. Then I'll need to do my last read thru before she turns it into the final book of the Trilogy!!

What I realized tonight is that I really need to take my time. I have it because I am an Indie Author. No one 's schedule but my own. But I also have a full-time job. And must make time for exercises my therapists are giving me for the shoulder I injured in late August. Yes, it's taking a while and most commonly since I am able to do much more with my right arm, I have to remind myself to do less. No weight bearing. And do the exercises even though getting the books out there seems much more important to me and so much more fun!
First things first. Ones health comes first..

Making those changes means the books aren't available for a few days as Create Space checks and approves any changes.
